This course is designed for people who wish to return to the formal education system after not having studied for some time. Partial or full completion of the course together with the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) Series C can be used to obtain a rank for tertiary entrance. The course covers: CTP200 Language and Learning Skills CTP202 Computer Studies CTP203 Accounting CTP204 Literature CTP205 Modern World History CTP206 Legal Studies CTP207 Australian Economy CTP209 Australian Society CTP210 Mathematics CTP211 Biology CTP212 Physics CTP213 Chemistry CTP214 Applied Mathematics CTP215 Pure Mathematics (CTP215). CTP100 Language and Learning Skills is the core subject and must be completed in the first year. Any four other subjects may be selected to complete the course. Prerequisites are shown in brackets (). Assessment is by assignments or examinations, or a combination of both. Entrance qualifications: Minimum age is 18. |

Administrative information: |
Duration of the course is 1 year for full-time students and 2 to 4 years for part-time students. A Certificate in Adult Tertiary Preparation is issued on successful completion of the course.
